Johnny Cash Where Are You?
Pennsylvania Station, New York serves approximately 600,000 people each day, me being one of them. Every morning & evening through the hustle & bustle of rush hour I'm one of the those crazy people running by, weaving through the crowds rushing to my train. Despite all the craziness of Penn Station, it is one of my favorite stations in NY because of all the awesome performers there that perform daily. I wonder, do you need to go talk to someone to secure a time slot to perform there? Or do you just kinda set up shop? Out of all the performers there my favorite by far is the guy that plays the guitar & sings Johnny Cash songs. He does a really great job singing/playing the songs. When he's there performing I actually stop & listen. But I don't think I've seen him around for months. Johnny Cash where have you gone? I need my dose of "Ring of Fire" when hustling through Penn Station. Does anyone know this person's name? I wasn't even able to find a you tube video of him singing. But I did find the creepy old man & his muppets.Am I the only one that thinks this guy is creepy?

If you came to my house.
If you came to my house!
Inspired by , MissSweeting
You would see:
Dog toys, everywhere. I swear I keep putting them back in the toybox, but the monkees insist that they be scattered around the house everywhere. As soon as I put things away they take them right back out. Please watch your step and don't trip!
We'd probably feed you:
Thai Green Curry with white rice and some Wintermelon soup. (yummy my favorites!)
And offer you this to drink:
Water, Hot Tea (your choice of jasmine, oolong, green), lemonade.
We'd undoubtedly ask if you'd like to read:
Any of our Domino, PC Gaming, Playstation, MotorTrend magazines.
We'd want to play this music for you:
Depends, we have a plethora of music at hand, ranging from asian music, rock, heavy metal, rap, or oldies. But most likely you'll walk into some Bon Jovi, Matchbox 20 or Aerosmith on.
We'd want to tell you the latest about:
Our dogs, dogs in general, home decorating, video games, medical procedures, and oh yes, our dogs.
We'd probably suggest a game of:
Rockband, Guitar Hero, Karaoke Revolution, Dance Dance Revolution, Rayman, or we could also set up the computers for a LAN party to play Rise of Nations or Star Craft (I'm sooooooooooooooo excited about the new one coming out!). But if you're not into video games, we can play a mean game of Monopoly or Scrabble!
We would definitely show off:
Our dogs, and all the tricks they do. Unless they're already all over you making you do tricks for them; cos they're manipulative like that. (the little poop monkees) Our wedding pictures and my wedding bouquet which is now a painting! (I'll post a picture later!)
We might get on the computer and show you:
Our latest game, some more pictures, videos of our monkees, some funny clip on Youtube.
If it was a long enough visit, we might watch:
Some anime, or one of the 300+ movies we have in our collection. It's insane really, I don't think I've even watched all of them. Or we can just watch the monkees do tricks. They can keep it up all day.

What would a visit to your house be like?

After Wedding Photoshoot
On a slightly chilly October day, I woke up early, took my gown out of the closet, and slipped it on. I was a bit upset that the dress actually fit LOOSER than it did on my wedding day! Arggh! What gives! Anyhooo, DH and I went into Manhattan to meet with our friends Katya & Arthur of Story Motion Studios. They also did my fantabulous Atlantic City shots.
After a long day of romping around the city my my gown I'm sooo happy that I got some great shots! Here's a small sample!
More to come

Where does all the time go?
So it's been almost a year since my last post. After the wedding, the holidays rolled by, and then Dh & I went into house hunting mode. We closed on our first home in early May. Since then we've been living out of boxes. Actually, we kinda still are! Work has been so busy for the both of us we still have boxes around the house. To top that off we're planning to have some renovations done in September as well. I haven't even ordered any new furniture yet!
But it's slowly coming together. I can't wait to have everything done for the Holidays & have friends & family over.
Speaking of friends & family!
OMG I can't believe how many you either had babies, or about to have babies! Congrats to you all if I didn't post it on your respective blog pages.
And to those that already had babies before I fell off planet Xanga after my wedding. I can't believe how much they've grown! I love reading about everyone's pregnancy ups & downs as well as new parent ups & downs. It makes me excited about someday having children as well. At this moment I'm just not ready yet. I think I'll join the Mommy's Club in 2010. So keep a seat warm for me. I'll be there soon.
Question: To those that have not had any children yet how long do you plan to wait? And to those that have already had a child, how long after you got married did you have your baby? Anyone planning or working on #2 yet?
p.s. It's good to be back.
p.p.s Oh yeah! I did an after wedding shoot also. I'll post those later!

Bride sues over flower color
NEW YORK (AP) -- The wedding was lovely, except for the flowers: They were the wrong color.
So says the bride, Elana Glatt, who was so upset that she sued the florist and alleged breach of contract.
She says Posy Floral Design in Manhattan substituted pastel pink and green hydrangeas for the dark rust and green ones she had specified for 22 centerpieces.
Not only that, she alleges that the hydrangeas were wilted and brown, and arranged in dusty vases without enough water.
"The use of predominantly pastel centerpieces had a significant impact on the look of the room and was entirely inconsistent with the vision the plaintiffs had bargained for," Glatt, a lawyer, said in the lawsuit, filed on behalf of herself, her husband, David, and her mother-in-law, Tobi Glatt, who paid for the flowers.
The flowers cost $27,435.14. The lawsuit asks for more than $400,000 in restitution and damages.
Stamos Arakas, the florist, said that he and his wife, Paula, tried to match the color of the hydrangeas with a picture Glatt had given them, but explained to her that the colors might not look the same.
"My father used to tell me, 'Don't deal with the lawyers," Arakas said. "Maybe he was right, God bless his soul." E-mail to a friend

I took off from work early that day to make it to the bash. I drove 2
hours from NYC to Atlantic City, NJ to meet the group there at 5:00pm.
I got there just in time. About 11 brides showed up where the famous Mark Eric and Jason Dominguez
greeted us. We were then taken up into a suite to get changed and
ready for the shoot. It was lively to say the least, in the suite with
all the girls running around getting ready, doing hair & make up.
There was also a camera crew there from Germany documenting the bash.
When we were all ready all the brides paraded down in their gowns
through the casino and to the boardwalk where the photographers were
waiting patiently for us to arrive. We caused quite a scene on the
casino floor, with a lot of guys asking us to marry them as we walked
by (really old gross ones too! eww). We walked out of the hotel doors
onto the boardwalk and were greeted by a roar of applause by the
photographers waiting outside. I was in shock. I didn't know there
would be so many photographers there. We were then paired up with 4-5
photographers to each bride and we were off! We started taking
pictures inside the hotel and worked our way out. If there was ever a
time where I felt like a movie star this was it. I had 4 cameras on me
at all times. It was extremely foggy that evening. I'm talking about
10 feet visibility and at first I was a bit upset by it. Because most
of the TTD pics I've ever seen were in a bright & sunshiny
setting. But later I realized how it added an extra something to the
tone & mood of the pictures. My group of photographers were
great. They made me feel at total ease in front of the camera. I was
able to let loose and have fun. I trudged through sand, climbed up on
a small pier, not to mention I laid down on it and it was full of green
algae, I got wet in the water, all in all I had tons of fun. Here are some sneak peek pictures from the shoot given to me by Arthur & Katya of Story Motion Studios
who were wonderful to work with, and were sweet enough to provide me
with these to show you while I wait for the rest of the photos to
arrive.

Oh and as for my dress? When I came home I rinsed it out with some
mild detergent in the tub and hung it dry. I think it's ready for
another TTD shoot. It's as good as new again!

Be Our Guest... Part I
It's countdown time for me. As of this weekend I have but one month away 'till my wedding. Eek! So much to do so little time! My RSVPs have been comming in en masse, but of course now it's down to a slow trickle and I still have those that we are hounding down for. To those that have written a little ditty, or a congrats, or blessings I thank you. But those that didn't write anything... boooooooooooo booooooooooooooooooooo to you!
When I pull the cards outta my mailbox & I see nothing written on it I litterally "booo" aloud.
I've been putting my RSVPs in a scrapbook that I will leave at the sign-in table for people to peruse through when the come in. So they can see what they, and others wrote, and of course to those that didn't write anything... feel like a loser for not writing me anything! Again.. booooooooo boooooooooo to you! But I'm glad you're attending! LOL
Here's just a few of them I took a picture of when I started adding them to the scrapbook. I plan to decorate them with some stickers/stamps to make it look a bit more lively. Stay tuned for Part II !!~
I know, I know, I've totally been slacking at this, but I've been so busy. Not only with wedding planning, but my job is also relocating to NYC from Long Island so I've been busy with that as well. But yes yes, as far as posting I've been a total slacker. I'm surprised the girls haven't changed my name/icon to Slacker Bee!
